PostHeaderIcon the London artrovert 2

From 8 to 12 july 2010, 28 artroverts were left in London City.
Each work has a unique serial number and together these 28 artworks will form 1 large painting.
When a piece is found, it will be visible on the large picture below.
(1 question-mark will disappear, and the piece will be revealed.)

Found a piece of the puzzle? It would be veeeeeeeeeeeeery kind to mail your serial number to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

This is my second experiment where I try to leave art on the streets.    Last time, 17% of the pieces received a response.
Let's see if I (we) can do it better this time...

Major changes from London artrovert 1:
- the pieces are a bit smaller, but more important, their weight is considerably less.  (about 1/10th of the previous artroverts)
- less weight/smaller=easier to place, transport, hide in your pockets or throw away.
- last time, I cut up a canvasprint, this time it's a real artwork
- flashy red is a major color this time (easier to spot)
- 28 instead of 30 pieces (it's a different size)

updates will follow...  soon!

PostHeaderIcon piece 2 and 3, thanks to Joe & Becky

"Hi there,

I found a piece of your artwork today at the bottom of Lambeth Hill near the millennium bridge.
Serial Number : IK23/9
cheers, Joe"
and another piece has left the country:
"Hi Damon,
I found a piece of the painting on the Southbank on Saturday afternoon.
I decided to keep it travelling, so I’ve brought it to Brussels (where I’m currently working) and will leave it somewhere for the next person to find.
Good luck with the project!

Becky"

I totally love this! Such a cool idea... And in the spirit of the
social distribution of quality artwork, can i send you something? I
run Alcopop Records, a pretty creative DIY label trying to do stuff on
a limited budget :-) Let me anyway - and ill get something together...

Keep up the interesting concepts!
